The following routers can be made to work with the FreeTheNet mesh:

  • Meraki. Note that Meraki recently recently changed its EULA so that disassembling their nodes or installing new software on them (including the software that makes our mesh network work) is a terms-of-use violation.
  • FON
  • Linksys WRT54G (Mesh only, NO AP mode)
  • Netgear WGT634U
  • Ubiquiti PS/LS2
  • Accton MR3201A
